Just when you thought that the airlines have exhausted all possible ways with which they can make your flight experience utterly miserable – they manage to come up with one more crazy idea..
In the latest episode, ANA (All Nippon Airways) wants you to hit the restrooms before boarding, so that you would be lighter and “greener”. Their calculations show that given the average human bladder capacity of 15oz, if 150 passengers relieve themselves on board the aircraft, it would amount to 63.7kg of waste.
Airline staff will be present at boarding gates in terminals to ask passengers waiting to fly to relieve themselves before boarding.
So if you’re flying with ANA and an agent asks you to heed nature’s call – even if you don’t really have to… – try to avoid getting pissed [pardon the pun].
