The recently proposed 10pm and 6:59am curfew at Burbank airport was rejected, as reported by USA Today and ATW Daily News. That FAA decision can be appealed, but for now, there is only a voluntary curfew in place. If the FAA decision is overturned, only law enforcement or medical flights would be allowed, in addition to emergency landings. Diverted or delayed aircraft would get an additional one hour window, from 10-11pm, to land at Burbank airport.

We will keep you informed on the outcome of a potential appeal, since the Burbank airport is one of our operator’s destination airports in SoCal. Stay tuned!
